Authentic Thai Food

Well, I was just browsing through my collection of photos last year and I found this.
It was a Home Economics Project on International Cuisine, and Shou Jin, Edwin and I chose Thai food.
It was rather screwed up [ come on, we only specialise in cooking corn. ( I was the president of corn club and they were my vice presidents) ].
We almost caused a fire.
Edwin was frying some pork and it suddenly blew up, leaving the pan in a mangled heap, and the pork looking like char siew.
Fortunately, I had brought Apollo cakes and a packet of nuts in case of anything like this happened.
We also had lots of decoration, which is always very good.
Appearance over quality, Jamie Oliver always says. ( ok i made that up myself )
Well, decorations included a miniature umbrella, some fake tangerines, a chapteh, gold wrapping paper, poser chopsticks, and some miniature vase.
Our tea tasted like water, even though it had some tea leaves floating in it.

Yes, the ready made Apollo cake and nuts at bottom right.

I think we scored high on deco.

Sawadeekup!!
