Bangkok

I went to Bangkok this winter to get me a new pair of snow muffs for easy listening during a ballfreezing Sunday morning so that I could listen to the cry of morning birds.

Tuk-tuk.

An overhead bridge.

Normal taxis. one thing though, you must haggle the price before you let the driver take you. the taxi meter sign is bullshit. its not like singapore.

Public bus.

Bus stop.

Mmmm... this is under a highway.

It's pretty cool, my mum is super trusting and cool. Everyday we would just meet for breakfast at the hotel, then I would roam around Bangkok for the rest of the day, coming back at around 10-11pm. =))

Bangkok has their own spanking new MRT, called the Bangkok Transit System (BTS for short). It's better than our own MRT la, it's nice. =) So I just made around Bangkok the whole day with my map haha. And the shopping centres are pretty accesible too, they're usually linked to the stations.

Train station.

Train on the outside

Mmmm makes me hungry.

My hotel is linked to this station. Pronounced Rut-cher-terry

Train in the mirror.

Map inside train.

Inside of train.

oh yea i didn't really take photos of the shopping centres cos i was too lazy hehe. i took more pictures of my meals instead, which were inconsistent.

Some soup in a bread thing at some delifrance-like cafe. Its about S$3-4

Mmmm... A&W float.

Some shrimp thing at kfc.

Shite man, this is the bomb la. Sry the pic's slanted. Its like bread with cheese and sausage inside. Very nice. It was sold at train station for about 70 cents sing. couldnt get enough of it. *salivates

ok lemme show you some shopping stuff now.
This is the view from the ever crowded Siam station. This is Siam Paragon, apparently the pride of Bangkok haha. It is some high end shopping centre commoners like me have no interest in. but it's nice la huh. oh yes the kings bday is on 5dec and that explains the decorations.

This is Siam Discovery Centre, it is just next to Siam Paragon. well, this is just 2 of the many shopping centres i went including the super nice MBK.

Pirated stuff at Panthip Plaze, the thai equivalent of Sim Lim Square.

An interesting art piece i found at Central World Plaza.

Hmm QB house. A cut costs around S$5.

ok, sry i didnt take many photos so ill fast forward to the part when i was leaving. ><
Their airport.

ok im too lazy and tired to type anything funny or interesting haha. so just look at the pictures. bleh..... peace out earthlings.
