a kernel what?: So long, kallang stadium!

well was out the whole day on saturday.

i had this literature symposium thingy at scgs in the morning. it was at like 7.45am!!! quite sian la have to wake up so early. it was pretty interesting. the auditorium (khoo auditorium apparently) was HUGE. and i think they have a few more.

the schools that attended the symposium were acsi, cedar, cat high, sji, scgs, ny, st marg's

yeah LITTTTTTT!!!

so well it was pretty good, we had suzanne choo teaching us stuff. she's the writer of some literature guide that is used in school. i seriously can't remember the title, except it has to do with sense or something. she's pretty cool. and i've learnt many things from this symposium, one of which is that cat high people are damn inconsiderate, noisy and immature. walao eh can't wait to get out of cat high!

met kevin after that at 12plus at scgs and we took 156 to j8 to meet up with daniel edwin and tze heng to catch transformers. kevin met a friend of his on the way. hehehe. ff. haha nah just kidding i think it was just his friend.

childhood revisited, the yan yan snack!! the last time i had it was in church when i koped a stick from this small boy, then scooped a ginormous chunk of chocolate out of his yan yan. haha just kidding la. i asked nicely okay.

transformers was okay, pretty lame. but seriously did feel the excitement surge through me when the autobots morphed. oman, so COOL LA~!!!

so well, but i thought all the transformers were darn ugly. the movie was not say VERY funny la. but well whaddya expect from a movie with stupid violent robots. damn noisy also la the movie.

yay then had to CALL a cab to go to the national stadium. quite sian la we had to wait like SUPER long before deciding to call a cab. so well, was happy again when we reached the national stadium. there's nothing like the energy from a packed (ok at least the section we were in) stadium. it's electric!

many, many people.... and a happy tze heng and a red kevin and a hidden edwin.

spot HARRY KEWELL. super exciting la. HARRY KEWELL LEH!!! he was pretty funny, he was like jiggling to the catchy tunes BLASTED out and reverberated around the stadium. cool.

then we had the torch carrying thingy la. then kunalan this old ex-sprinter lit up the cauldron.

everyone was very excited, but i was like, whatever.

ramly belonging to the people sitting in front of us. was eyeing it the whole time.

darkness envelopes the stadium......

and very adorable aussie kids behind us. wa this picture makes you think that they are super guai and quiet right?? WA so not lor they were damn funny. the yellow boy took out his shirt and waved it around while screaming "OZ!!!!" darn funny. till kevin and tze heng asked me to do the same. then not funny already. then they moved in front of us as they got more enthu. then they keep standing up and blocking our view lor! haha but they are quite nice and friendly, very entertaining also. decided to disturb them, tap them then when they turn back blame others, flick the yellow boy's cap/ear, rub his head.... jack them. haha so lame la. i love to bully small kids. hehehe. so fun. tried to kope this small girl's piece of hershey marshmallow for fun ytd in church. then she was with her friend or sister i think. then when i was holding on to her marshmallow pretending to kope her marshmallow, her friend suddenly screamed something to the effect that i was bullying her meimei la. wa obviously i was freaked la cos i think their parents were nearby, so i gave her my marshmallow to shut her up. haha yes it did. then stupid girl was running around delighted with her new found marshmallow from this gorgor who didn't know better. sian la then i was so sad while singing doxology and seeing the girl wave my marshmallow around and showing it off to her mother. delightful.

something that isn't very common anymore. spotted while hunting for supper after the match. was super high after the match.
we had supper at subway at plaza sing in the end.

oh yeah, what do you get when you cross a bun with a sheng siong employee??

sheng siong DOUGH shi wei le ni!!! can't get that disgusting advert out of my head where they pat their hearts. it's so stupid!
