greetings, beings!

and so, i woke up to news today that manchester city had displaced my beloved liverpool from second place! horrors! liverpool, do have a game in hand though. they have played 5, man city 6. and ere you think that this is to be yet another (come to think of it, i've only done one post on football. rightttttt. maybe 2, the league table one wasn't really counted, was it?) post on football, don't go yet, it isn't.

well that was that, i was waking up from my beautiful, beautiful afternoon nap, the most peaceful i've had. last night was quite bad, i had some trouble sleeping and had to read gerrard's autobiography to sleep. i'm not saying it is a boring book though, it is really inspiring and i seek to follow in his footsteps. haha, okay fine so maybe to a lesser extent then. i'm not totally ruling out a move to liverpool in the not too distant future though, for it would be foolish to rule out anything for certain. like say, ruling out liverpool's title hopes this season. anyway, i earnestly hope that i can emulate gerrard's growth spurt when he was 16 though. did you know, that gerrard as a 16 year old was frail like Bambi and only about 5ft 4! in a year, he shot up to 6ft 1 and was well-built. in the aptly named chapter "From Bambi to bison", steve heighway also recalls seeing gerrard again after 18 months, now a strapping young man, and wonders what the liverpool academy did to him - "God knows what the people at the academy fed him and did to him!" words to that effect, i can't quite recall. you don't really remember things that happen at night. okay, so maybe you do, smart aleck, but i don't. so, don't study at night. but then again, if it's something about boring stuff like social studies, it's that much harder to memorise. very drrrrry.

oh yeah, so the typing of this post incidentally coincides with the ending of my prelims. hmm. so here i am, carefree and fussfree for the next day or so before getting back to my orh level prepaprepaprepapreparations. BORING fascinating. i'm actually thinking i'm beginning to like studying. and i have a pretty good reason to. it's nice to do a paper and hand it up eagerly like a smart aleck, eager for it to be marked since you have faith in your work. so now, i take back what i've said about smark alecks (nothing, actually), and wish them all the worst for their examinations. there are different kinds of smart alecks. just like there are different kinds of turtles, birds and assortments of vegetables. there, an example of being smart alecky. i'm pretty smart alecky too, for sure. everyone can be smart alecky in their different ways. so there, everyone's an asshole.
