Your Favourite Crouch Memory

(title as seen in an lfc.tv forum)

I'm not terribly sad that Crouchie's leaving Anfield, I'm just feeling that he could have contributed so much more to the cause at Liverpool (and he already has quite a fair bit, 42 goals in 130 odd games would surely be substantial wouldn't it). It's quite a shame to see him go, that's the best I can put it (for want of a better vocabulary). It really is. His deft chips, magnetic touches, brilliant close control (that is untypical and uncharacteristic of a 1.98m player) and nod-downs have surely been a boon to Liverpool when he's played. And who can forget the magnificent bicycle kicks that he has executed to such textbook perfection! And what an impact he has made, whether he was starting or coming on as a substitute, defenses had to change totally the way they played to counter the massive threat he provided!

All the best at Pompey Crouchie, you'll defo be missed!

(I'm sorry this is a soccer-related post, non-followers of soccer who also happen to read cornroll)
