The Last Moments Of 2006

OH WELL. my previous entry got lost cos my com suddenly restarted when i inserted my memory card. scary stuff that. sigh, stuff like that happens. alright. This was how i spent my last day of year two thousand and six, 2006.

brrrrrrrrr. again.

ok so basically i woke up at like 1plus, having slept at like 5.3o. so i slacked yet another afternoon away! then i left for church. i love to roam about on my own, it gives me this great sense of freedom! bangkok was the best. =) alright, so i was at the kids' department at United Square, which is next to my church, then i got tired so i decided to sit on this cute little kiddy bench that looked nice to sit on. so i just planted my ass on it casually. and i didn't even notice THIS:


Aw man! That's MEAN isn't it! FORTUNATELY i sat next to it, not on it! Ah! What kind of parents do kids have these days! It is gross. It grosses me out. Man, man, man... a soiled diaper! Hahaha!

ohkay. so i freaked out and jumped and went to church, where hopefully i wouldn't see any soiled diapers around. yea so church started at 5, i had a nice little chat with Jeremy Tiong before that, talking about his jc, what to expect for sec 4 life ("i didn't know what hit me" says him haha). yea so he got a phone call and i ended up taking the same lift as crystal and her friends? it was kinda quiet before crystal suddenly asked me to send her Digital Love by Daft Punk. maybe people were surprised, cos i keep a low low LOW profile in church and i doubt anyone would know that i knew any girls in church at all haha. oh well, so we got out of the lift and i tried sending her the song via Bluetooth, but her phone DIED. Pok la. haha it ran out of batt. alright so i figured i would send her on MSN then. oh yes the song is from the Nokia 5300 (?) music phone advert, the "Don't stop, come a little closer" song. yep.

so if you want it go buy daft punk's album. haha.

well, we didn't have cell today so we sat through sermon, which was ohkay. then i found out that there was some night watch service thingy till about 12.30. ah.... but i already agreed to go out with my friends. sry! those who organised and all....

well so i just hung around church for a while, had dinner. it was quite fun, i hung around with my cell people, onesimus people. in a lift. -_- oh well i wont elaborate, its so dumb.

well so i left at around 8 and met up with me friends at cityhall. Nicholas, Henry, Tze Heng and a dog were there. okok. the dog had a name. Edwin. ok?

oh well, so we headed to the Esplanade where there were fireworks apparently. we got there early, and we found a nice little spot near a merlion. well on the way there, i had 2 McChickens, 5 Big Gulps, 2 jumbo packs of Mamee, 21 charsiew bao, and a rsapberry ripple waffle icecream (the $1 kind).

OHKAY, i only had the icecream. oh well, so we walked to this spot, and there was this makeshift stall selling this pressurised cans that shoots foam out. SIAN. so as I walked past, this smart ass decided to demo his spray cans to attract people. of course, the bloody soapy foam landed on me....

and my half eaten ripple icecream!!! AHHH!!! BUGGER.

and i was like "EH! my icecream!". and i was apparently loud enough (a rarity, i did like the icecream a lot), for him to hear me, and he was like sheepish and "sorry sorry."

so i screamed back "SORRY NO CURE!" then he got pissed and he took out TWO cans and started spraying at me, straight into my ice cream. so i took out my flamethrower and blasted him and his stupid cans away.

ok, words in red are kinda untrue. hehe. of course i forgave him la. =) and i happily ate my foamy ice cream hahaha.

well so we thought we had a good spot till these Bangladeshi workers started filtering in and squeezing all of us. Dammit! we couldn't stand the smell and the lack of air so we decided to go to a more well-ventilated area where we could breathe without inhaling Bangla kutu.

ok so well, we left our good spot for a clean airy spot and we found marcus chang. then the esplanade opened and we went in. so daniel called, he was gonna join us, so i said yeah, meet us at mrs field's in esplanade. it was nearing 12 then. nearing the end of 2006.

oh well, so i found a nice seat near mrs field's and just sat down. i was tired. so as the rest left to see the countdown and firework, i stayed there, acting emo haha. no la haha, i just wanted to be alone, and really wanted to think about what has happened this year. so much has happened this year, it's crazy. oh well, i think it was the first time i have ever REALLY reflected on anything. i am happy for myself. haha.

so well, soon after my friends came back and Daniel finally found his way. and yep we left and Henry had this crazy idea of going to Yishun to bowl, but it was thwarted, sry henry, cos i don't know, of transportation problems and the fact that it was 1plus!

i reached home at 2.30am, 1st January 2007. cheers to yet another year. =)
