sibu-utiful place, sibu-utiful people

Class camp. Great place, great class, great people. What more can I ask for?

(Thank you Grace for uploading the photos, btw. It was really erm, gracious of you. )

Before setting off, at RJ, with Kartik and Qian Wei!

Our coach, but only up to the causeway!

SIBU-UTIFUL!

The sibu-utiful jetty with its sibu-utiful sojourners.

The sibu-utiful boatride across the channel to Sibu Island!

Setting up our basha tents!

Carving tent pegs out of twigs. Back to basics, baby!

Footy with the spherical-est object we could find- coconuts.

The 9th Sibu Island Coconut Balancing Competition goes to Team Slacking-while-others-were-pitching-up-the-bashas! Yay.

No, I'm really delighted that the coconut I was juggling with split dramatically mid-air, flinging drops of its decomposing content across my shirt. Chaffed, really. ( The stink was unbelievable. )

Our sibu-utiful suites for the four days! Just 20m away from a freshwater source, 20m away from a lallang field, and 20m away from the South China Sea! hurray!

Too bad it leaked. Sort of.

The sibu-utiful dining area!

Sibu Ball. ( I'm sorry, it's 1.24am and I'm hardly inspired, hehe. )

Careful undertow.

Trekking through the rocky coastal areas was sibu-utiful man.

Glam shot, not.

We started the year as a fractious movement,

now we are unified, radical and Sibu-lised!

Cheers. Class camp '08, I will remember.
