Suan Lum Night Bazaar

mmmmm lemme finish eating my OATMEAL biscuits first hahaa.

ok, part 2 of Bangkok trip. i don't think it would really be going in chronological order, so i hope you're okay with it.

so this is basically the hotel i stayed in, Asia hotel.

hehe this is the entrance that connects directly to the skytrain. sorry, either my hands are shaky or my phone cannot really take good pictures at night. or both. or maybe i was just eating. probably eating. like you have your hands full of food, it isn't that easy you know.

then when i entered my hotel room i saw yikai fending off a mysterious flying chair.... with a chair.

eh shit, the blue chair really is flying. look carefully. woahhhhhhhhhh supernatural.

woahhhhhhhhh. or maybe the chair was thrown by the mysterious person on the far right.

woahhhhhhhh strong mysterious person.

woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

and this is the front of the hotel. there's a huge portrait of the thai king there, along with all the regal yellow stuff around him. the thais respect the king very much, i think he has done a lot for them and is a very good king. man, they even treat him like a demi-god. when the people see him in flesh they start crying and all cos they are so touched. incredible. i was in thailand last december and i think the king's birthday fall on something like the 6th of december or something?? that's when the entire country would wear yellow.

an adidas outlet at Fenix. i've forgotten which station it was at haha.

hmmm i also went to Suan Lum night bazaar on the first day,

there, i told you my phone can't take photos at night. or maybe it had to do with the ice cream i had in my hand. suan lum night market is situated at pathum wan district, and i got there by Bangkok Metro, which is bangkok's MRT. the BTS is more like singapore's LRT. suan lum market is not as well known as the chatuchak weekend market, and it is much smaller. you can cover it in a night. they basically sell stuff like t-shirts, handicrafts, silk stuff, random stuff. just like a pasar malam la. price-wise, it may be a little more expensive then chatuchak, but the shirts i bought were around the same price. it's also less crowded and it operates every night if i'm not wrong. business has not been brisk, and i guess it would be closing down soon?? haha i'm not sure.

so basically to get there, you have to take the underground Bangkok Metro, and the night market is opposite Lumpini station. here's a map of the Metro.

lol, i'm sorry. my mum la, scared me, say what later they catch me for taking photos. er...... so i was half way through and i hum diao, and this is what i got. there, if you look closely enough, Lum-pi-ni station. there, see it??

the underground Bangkok metro station......
