weehoo

almost 96% of people

marry their sec school sweethearts

got this from a bulletin post on friendster. i read it and went like. yeah right! who you kidding la! it's rubbish! totally rubbish! friendster is rubbish! rubbish bulletins are rubbish x2! rubbish rubbish! only steven is not rubbish!

okay, here's why people who go steady in secondary school will not end up with each other:

before that, i would like to make a disclaimer. this is not intended to break up couples who are currently together.

but well, it probably would on second thought. but oh well, i'm a hateful, disgusting un-understanding, unloving, unloved (hahaha), maybe jealous single HERMIT currently undergoing hermitherapy at catholic high, so i don't really care.

*smiles evil grin and rubs hands in glee

REASONS WHY SECONDARY SCHOOL COUPLES WILL NOT WORK OUT (MOST OF THE TIME AT LEAST)

1) PEOPLE CHANGE. the sweet innocent (ok maybe not) the *insert in anything you like* girl that your stead is now will change! maybe not physically, but her values, her ideals will be likely to change.

2) CHANGE IN HEART. along the way, you may meet a hotter, smarter and more compatible woman at your workplace or something. then how???? dump the ex homecoming queen who binges on sinful food??

3) YOUR MATURITY LEVEL. let's face it. people our age are the worst when it comes to judging their own maturity level. we think we're mature, we look, feel like adults. but i think that a certain amount of experience in life is needed before you can make such important choices and not make stupid ones.

4) YOU ARE NOT FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT. most of us aren't working. our income is ZERO. ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOO. what right do you have to splurge your parents' money on a girl. i think it would be best to be a little financially stable before you get a girlfriend please.

5) YOU ARE NOT AT A POINT IN YOUR LIFE WHERE YOU REALLY KNOW YOUR OWN PLANS AND YOUR PARTNER'S PLANS. suppose your girlfriend decides to go overseas to study. your relationship may be put to the test. there are many uncertainties.

6) NATIONAL SERVICE. guy goes to serve the nation. girl goes to uni. girl may find uni guy who is better, older, more mature, financially stable. then how??

7) WHAT'S THE POINT?? do you see a point in having a girlfriend now??? really, what's the point? the ultimate for a steady relationship is to end up in marriage. seriously, do you see yourself marrying this girl? and spending the rest of your life with her? (oman)

7) IT WOULD END UP IN HEARTBREAK. most of the time at least.

okay okay all of you break up with your girlfriends now! hehe i'm evil

so, (fortunately! or sadly), my status is currently single and unavailable. awwwww. so i'm so sorry jessica alba, scarlett johansson, jesseca liu, and all other hot women in the world. maybe you would have to cut down a little on the chocolates and proposals.

haha i'm just kidding. you should know.
